Details

Hello! Location bar is not focused properly (focus is on Search Tab text area) when: 1. MySidebar is unrolled (Viewed). 2. MySidebar is rolled (Hidden) and focus was on it before hidding it. Steps to reproduce bug: 1. To reproduce first bug: Open new browser window, make sure that Search Tab is visible, close this window (without closing it also works) and open another browser window. Focus is not on Location Bar (as it should be) but on textarea on Search Tab. 2. To reproduce second bug: Open new browser window, make sure that Search Tab is visible, focus search tab textarea, hide (roll) MySideBar, close this window (without closing it also works) and open another browser window. Focus is not on Location Bar (as it should be) but on textarea on Search Tab.
There are a bunch of sidebar focus bugs, but this doesn't seem to be a dup.

I found code where SideBar search textbox is focused. search-panel.js Line 251: focusTextBox(); Line 362: function focusTextBox() { var textBox = document.getElementById("sidebar-search-text"); textBox.focus(); } After deleting this everything is ok. It seems that bug is fixed. I have also an idea: Mayby search text box would be focused only when user is uncollapsing MySideBar and my panel is search panel. And after collapsing UrlBar is autofocused. In other cases only UrlBar is focused.

The problem is a bit more than this, the search tab text area is stealing focus for me when I middle mouse to open link in new window, even though I have the sidebar disabled. I can have it disabled (as I always do) and quit the browser, restart, go to whatever site, middle mouse a link, and then my keyboard appears nonfunctional. But if I typed "mojo", and then open up the sidebar, I can see where my mojo went. The damn sidebar is stealing focus from from everyone, god I hate that thing!
