Bug 581783 will once again break Input's UA detection and I am not going to do it all in JavaScript, because if the removal is consistent, language and platform won't be exposed there for long either. If we care about statistical data, we should have the feedback extension submit this data automatically to the feedback form. As long as the Fx version is still part of the UA, we can still detect if people are using the latest beta. Once this is gone, we have to can this feature and just accept all feedback, but that's luckily still down the road.
Note that bug 581783 isn't going to hide the platform but drops "Windows; " from e.g. "Windows; Windows NT 5.1".
Ah, thanks. It seems, I misinterpreted the bug, then. WONTFIXing for now, unless any other bugs are dealing with removing information from the UA that we read?

You might want to take a look at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/showdependencytree.cgi?id=572650&hide_resolved=1 These are all suggestions from various people. Many of the proposed changes probably won't happen, others might not be relevant to you.
