Details

The Histogram Simulator is an incredibly-useful tool for understanding how Telemetry Historgrams work. Unfortunately, it's not the most well-known of the tools. We should mention it in at least start/adding-a-new-probe and collection/histograms in the in-tree docs. It might be useful someplace in docs.tmo too, I'm not sure. This bug is for investigating and discussing potential locations for places to reference the Histogram Simulator, and for actually putting those references in those places.
