Michael and I can both reproduce this on today's 2/18 trunk.
This is getting to be annoying! It's the "set initial focus racing problem" again. Apparently, if you set focus to any widget during dialog startup, textboxes in that dialog or dead. Saari: any idea why this is happening more frequently lately? I also found the problem in Advanced Edit dialog (fixed as part of bug 115858).
